Squirrel, The king's of Leap

Squirrel is a class of small mammals that are similar, and often confused, with the Squirrel. Scientifically speaking, Squirrel are not the same and far from family Squirrel. Squirrel are the predators of insects, and first put in the insectivores (insect eaters), together with cerurut, while Squirrel and flying Squirrel, including the Rodentia (rodents) together with the mouse.

Many Squirrels live in the forests of Europe and North America. Its length is about 25 cm. It's about the size of two human hands.
Behind his back is a wide tail, erect, tufted and nearly equal in length to the body. Thanks to this long tail, Squirrel can jump from one tree to another without losing balance.

His little sharp nails can make it climb a tree without difficulty. He can easily run along the branches, hanging upside down and moves in a position like this. Gray Squirrel, for example, can jump from the limb to the other branches as far as 4 meters. When jumping, he stretched his legs forward and back and float. Meanwhile, a flattened tail to maintain balance as well as a rudder to steer. He was even able to fall freely from the branches as high as 9 meters above the ground and landed smoothly on the ground with all four leg’s.So, the Squirrel is called the "king's leap".

In winter, it is difficult for Squirrel to find food, so that in summer they gather food to eat in the months long and cold the next. Squirrel are among the animals that store food for winter. However, Squirrel are very careful when gathering food. They do not gather the fruit or meat, fast food type of rot. If they collect food like that, they would starve in the winter. Therefore, the Squirrel collect only dry fruits are durable as walnuts, hazelnuts, and pine cones.

Squirrel are also suitable for those of you who want to maintain it. Animals are pretty friendly in my opinion. Provided that you really take good care. :-)
